The United Forum meeting was held today
the 19-10-2013, and reviewed the talks that were held yesterday the
18-10-2013, between the United Forum representatives and the BSNL Management.
The meeting expressed it's overall satisfaction over the settlement of the
issues in the given circumstances. The meeting also felt that the issues which
were not accepted by the Management, need to be pursued further for
final settlement. Under these circumstances the meeting unanimously decided to
postpone the one day strike. The meeting appreciated the employees as well as
all the constituents of the United Forum, for their readiness to go on
struggle, which has facilitated the settlement.
